Will the cuff fit my large arm?
Our Easy-Wrap ComFit Cuff comfortably wraps around standard and larger arms, 9” to 17” in circumference. Measure your upper arm with a cloth tape measure to determine the best fit.

Multi-colored lights indicate if your reading is in or out of range. A green light means you’re in the normal range, while the orange light signifies you’re in the hypertension range.
Why does my blood pressure fluctuate?
It’s normal for your blood pressure to vary every day—as much as 20mmHg up or down. It’s also common for it to be higher or lower at the doctor’s office. Be sure to discuss your results with your doctor.

First, why did I choose the BP785N model. 1. Good price. 2. Best reviews/ recommendations (Omron) 3. No auto transfer to phone or online. Transfers requires Software and/or Apps. If you don't intend to use more than 6mo to a year your software will last but after that updates and new editions or support ends and your stuck with something that may not work. I don't mind inputting into my phone manually (there's an app for that called My Heart on Google Play). I also downloaded a fillable PDF log form to track my readings Am/Pm that I can print off for Doctor's records. When setting up the monitor focus just on that. Don't hurry. If you don't have batteries on hand, don't worry, this model comes with an adapter. FOLLOW MANUAL! Start on page 10, 'TruRead'. It is the most accurate setting. I found that the 60 sec intervals work best allowing you to adjust or drink water between readings. Practice putting on/off arm cuff a few times so you aren't getting frustrated before taking a BP reading. Set monitor to '1' for your reading using '2' for a second person in your home. You CAN"T remove a single reading from the monitor so don't try, it will dump ALL! If you doubt your results take another full reading session and log it on your form or phone. There is a 'Guest Mode' (pg17) that allows you to take readings on others and these are erased when you turn off the monitor.

Follow up 1 16-2015: This cuff is more than good, Is excellent in that it very easy for my 87 year old mother in law who is frail to use due to the unexpected surprise of how the cuff curve is sturdy yet flexible and then one can wrap the rest of the cuff around the arm without with out it falling off and struggling to wrap a completely limp cloth cuff around the upper arm. One Puts sturdy flexible part of cuff around upper arm like a cuff bracelet with give without breaking. The initial part of cuff fits securely around upper arm, then without sliding one can simply wrap the cuff around the arm and push a button and the BP is taken. Has memory so that person can record BP to show MD over time. It was a loved gift and nicer than first thought than when in box. Lights up well, can be seen in dark & taken before arising, which may prevent falls. Ordered 2nd 1 for spouse, Same cuff at drug store much less expensive through Amazon
The arm cuff is not entirely soft as it is at the doctor's office. The part of the cuff that goes around the arm is stiff but can easily be pulled to go around my arm. The rest of the cuff is soft and easily wraps around the arm.
Unlike the automatic blood pressure monitors at CVS, Walmart, etc., this one does not over-inflate so my arm does not feel like it's in a strangle grip. For people with naturally high blood pressure, this monitor has the ability to inflate to a higher pressure by holding a button down for 3 seconds.
The buttons are a little confusing, but I'm sure I can get it after a few more tries. I've only used it twice so far. Upon turning it on for the first time, the Start button only turned it on. But after the initial setup, the Start button starts the inflation of the cuff - even though the display is blank. (Pressing the Start button also turns on the display.)
I like the large display, but the physical size, along with the stiff cuff makes it difficult to take with me on airplane trips where I'm trying to minimize the size of my luggage. I would have bought the smaller wrist blood pressure monitor, but my wrist is too large for it.
Always have trouble with the digital machines at the doctors office since the cuff is usually too small and gives false high readings (I’m 6’3” with bigger than usual arms), but this machine is consistent with their readings when they do it manually. The cuff on this is perfectly fine for my arms and everyone from my girlfriend to my mom have used it, so I’d say it’s truly “universal”. Leave it out and people always want to test themselves, so it apparently can double as a great interactive center piece for your coffee table too.
Screen is easy to read, setup isn’t overly complicated, and it records your readings if you want to go back and document them to take to your doctor. Be warned, the recording part only works if you leave it plugged in, or have batteries in it. Always better to write it down than to trust the machine, but it’s an option if you so choose.
