This Kate Spade clutch is perfect for a dressy outfit. It is called a crossbody bag because of the strap, but is very small, so I would consider it a clutch. The first thing I did was remove the detachable strap. I think it looks so much better without it, and is truly a clutch. It holds a lipstick, compact, id and a few other small items. I am very pleased with it, but it's more of an evening bag than what I consider a "crossbody"....

This purse is perfect for my expectations: a evening clutch that doesn't look cheap or a quick errand cross body bag. No, you can't carry a million things, but most of us carry more items than we need in our tote bags. In this bag, I'm able to fit my iPhone 6+, my car key, a wallet for cards, lip balm and lipstick, and a small pouch of necessities (eye drops, ibuprofen, for example). My only complaint is that the magnetic snap button seems to be placed a little too low on the purse, often leading me to close the purse with two hands (i.e., inconvenient).
