I purchased this watch in November 2012. I didn't drop it or do anything to break it. By the end of April 2013, it stopped working altogether. I can't wind it. When I wear it, it fails to self-wind. It's useless. One of the worst purchases I've made.

If it worked, I'd love it. It looks great. But it doesn't.

Decent watch for the price I paid. My only complaint is that the power reserve is rather limited in my view. Not sure what it's supposed to be, but it will wind down if not worn in about 15 hours or so. QUite frankly, I have a watch winder and sometimes it won't keep this properly wound. As the winder manages to keep my other automatics running, I have to think it's the watch. Likewise, I find that the watch runs a little fast, as much as 3-4 minutes over a week or so. It's not much of an issue for me but worth mentioning.

It is easy to manually wind though, a plus there.

This watch is excellent. The c01.211 movement keeps time very well in terms of seconds -/+ a day and keeps better time than some of my regulated ETA/Valjoux 7750 movements. My average loss is around -2 seconds a day, based upon time syncing with NIST Internet Time clock. Tissot really hit home with this watch. The chronograph works very well, however I wish it had a 12 hour counter rather than just 6 hours, but most of my timing needs are under 6 hours anyways. The other complication I wish it had was a day of week indicator, as it is useful. The movement is also only 21,600 BPH, which doesn't make the large chronograph second hand move too fluidly, unlike the 7750 that is 28,800 BPH. When the watch is running, the movement can be hardly noticed when put up to your ear. It is an extremely quiet automatic movement. Being that the clock timing second hand is small, it make it look like it is in fluid motion. However, the dial of the watch is very clean and easy to read under most lighting conditions and activities. Also the hands line up perfectly to the markers on the face. The watch has an open glass caseback so you can see the inner workings and the beauty of the watch. The thickness of the watch is almost a 1/2 inch thick, making it a large watch, for most, it is nice. For some it might not be so nice. The weight for the size of the watch is quite deceiving, as it weighs 186 grams or roughly 6.5 ounces. Despite it being so large, it is a wonderful watch to wear and enjoy for many years to come.

Wore it two days. It was keeping great time . . . until Day 2, when overnight it lost FOUR hours.

This is my second Tissot and I have had problems with both.

I'm no watch collector however I researched endlessly online and discussed at length with knowledgeable friends as to which entry level luxury watch brand provide the best value and quickly settled on Tissot. This particular watch - like most Tissot sport automatics - is a bit bulky and heavy but I see this as a testament to its durability and class. The band has both chrome and satin finishes which is a very nice touch. The face is beautifully adorned with carefully positioned dials and lettering. The see-through back offers a wonderful glimpse into the inner workings; the pendulum moves extremely freely which shouldn't be taken for granted.

For me it's a perfect balance of functions and elegance... none of that overwhelming over-sized numbering along the bezel. This gives the watch the duality of sportiness and luxury IMO. I've only had the watch for a day and night but I can vouch that while I only wore it for 5 hours yesterday evening, that was enough winding of the mainspring for it to still accurately show the time this morning (7-8 hours later) so this impressed me. I now suspect it will never let me down mid-day. The bracelet offers only one opportunity to fine tune the length and this gives about a 4 mm advantage, however I found that adding/removing links and using this 4mm play gives a decent chance to customize the fit. The standard clasp works well and there is in addition a wet suit deployment clasp.

This automatic watch does not stay wound for more than one/two days. What is the point of an automatic watch that will not stay wound? In addition, the second hand is only for the chronometer. In spite of paying significant money for this watch, I am throwing it away.

This is one of the best automatic watches I own, in spite of its rather modest price and qualifications. It is good looking, rugged and incredibly exact: about two seconds fast every three days, which is unbelievable for a non-COSC certified automatic. Certainly worth the money. The only thing you might want to take into consideration is its size and weight, which some might find a bit excessive, particularly its considerable thickness.

My wife got me this watch for my B-day and it never worked!!!
I called them up, and told them that i would like to exchange it. The rep at jomashop was very rude and told me, they would not send me a replacement. she said i should send it back and in they would only fix it, at there unauthorized shop and send it back in no less then 30 days. I told them that a lot of money was spent on a NEW watch so please send me a replacement i do not want a refurbished one for 525$.
She said ill send you a slip to get it fixed and HUNG UP THE PHONE!!!!
so i don't think you should trust them!

p.s. Amazon.com was no help although they claim they have a A-Z guarantee!!!!!
